* FYI (and because everyone always asks about this) This was one of the first commercial websites ever designed to operate entirely without ever refreshing or reloading the page. It achieved this by using a little known gimmick, only available in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which was later adopted into the main stream (part of what they call "web 2.0") but when that happened, the other browser designers ditched the original hack that allowed this to happen in Explorer, and standardized on something quite a bit different. Microsoft has kept the original feature for backward compatibility, but none of the other browser designers ever included it.
